Derek: “Think you’ll be okay now. Looks like you found an anchor.”
Isaac: “My father.”
Derek: “Your father locked you in a freezer in the basement to punish you.”
Isaac: “He didn’t use to.”
Fangirl Challenge - Favorite Female Characters [2/20]
Amy Pond - ”Hello, old friend, and here we are. You and me, on the last page. By the time you read these words, Rory and I will be long gone. So know that we lived well, and were very happy. And above all else, know that we will love you, always. Sometimes I do worry about you, though. I think once we’re gone, you won’t be coming back here for a while, and you might be alone, which you should never be. Don’t be alone, Doctor. And do one more thing for me. There’s a little girl waiting in a garden. She’s going to wait a long while, so she’s going to need a lot of hope. Go to her. Tell her a story. Tell her that if she’s patient, the days are coming that she’ll never forget. Tell her she’ll go to sea and fight pirates. She’ll fall in love with a man who’ll wait two-thousand years to keep her safe. Tell her she’ll give hope to the greatest painter who ever lived and save a whale in outer space. Tell her this is the story of Amelia Pond. And this is how it ends.”

I have actual schedule for this, so posts will just show up when I have time. Also they’ll probably still just be pictures cause it takes me waaaaaaaaay too long to make decent GIFS. Also internet here still kinda sucks and trying to download clips is laughable at times.
I NEED MORE INFORMATION BUT I KNOW WHAT I AM ASKING FOR NOW!!!!!!!!!
I know it’s probably not but … that really looks like Erica to me.
I swear, if Erica’s alive, I’m gonna interrogate everyone at my Teen Wolf RP, cause that’s waaaay too much they’ll have guessed right…
We were all setting up our presentation boards when one woman says “Who in here is under twenty-one?”, two people raise their hand and the rest of us shoot baffled looks at the teacher who says “She brought us a treat!”. I stood there thinking ‘She can’t have what I think she has…’ and we moved on, taking our ‘tour’ through the presentation boards until we get to her presentation on the US Virgin Islands … and she pulls out a bag and starts handing out 50ml bottles of strawberry rum made in the Virgin Islands.
We all finished the presentations while holding our little bottles of alcohol and then I stuck it in my purse, went about the rest of the school day, and told the others in my speech class about it as they laughed and one jokingly threatened to blackmail the teacher.
Then I got home and showed my mom the little bottle as I tried to decided exactly what to do with it. My mother’s experience with alcohol is two glasses of wine in her entire life so she didn’t really know either, “I’ve heard rum’s pretty strong…” was all she really knew. So I poured a little into the cap (less then a teaspoon probably) and tried it.
It tasted like strawberry flavored hand sanitizer and I’m pretty sure I made some impressive faces. Then she chimed in with “I’m pretty sure rum and coke is a thing? Pour some in your Dr. Pepper?”. I put about half the little bottle in my cup and that was much better. I don’t like cherry coke, but I’m pretty sure that strawberry coke should be a thing now.
And … that’s pretty much the story of my first experience with alcohol. Except for having to explain to Nattie why there’s still half a bottle of it in my purse for when she (inevitably) went through it again. She spent the the next half an hour wailing “You’re drunk! I’m so disappointed in you!” even though I was very much not drunk, but well, she’s Nattie.
just going to say that I know Heather and I are going to want to hear the alcohol story.
i can’t wait to hear the story
I survived the day! Finished the website last night and turned it in, did the presentation, turned in the paper and gave both speeches! (“You have a real gift for speaking.” says my teacher after I thought I totally flubbed the first one. I think maybe he was high.)
And then I tried alcohol for the first time. There’s a story to that, but I’m too tired to get into it. Let’s just say that, IMO, rum tastes like hand sanitizer.
Five major assignments are due tomorrow. And I am completely panicking that I’ve forgotten something or I’ll go blank on the presentation or one of the two speeches. The paper is printed and in my binder, I submitted the website, all my visual aids (and notes to go over before class) for the speeches are also in my binder and the display board for the project is done but I am so paranoid that I am forgetting something.
